Re-made and re-modelled British sports car maker TVR has pledged to develop and launch a full EV version of its renowned Griffith sports car by 2024. The news comes as part of TVR’s drive towards electrification and sits alongside its sponsorship of races at the Monaco and London Formula E World Championshiphs.
TVR says the move is a “turning point” in its strategic direction as it moves towards electrification.
TVR chairman Edgar said that being involved with the Formula E Championships “not only demonstrate our commitment to revolutionising the TVR brand, but to EV, and becoming a sustainable, net-zero business.
“Our plans to bring TVR EV’s to market are well underway, with the first of two models to be released shortly after the release of the newest Griffith and Limited-Edition Griffith EV models in 2024″.
