Here at NTK Motors we like a Subaru. Some of us have been driving them for decades. So we were chuffed to hear that they’re expanding their UK dealership network by at least 15 outlets this year, going for an impressive ten new ones in the first half of 2021. Three new dealers have already been appointed in Exeter, Darlington and Penrith and it seems that Subaru might be open to approaches for the remaining positions.
The company plans new models and electric drivetrains soon, so they’re expecting big things in the UK.
Subaru MD, John Hurtig, said they have a five-year roadmap (is everyone using this phrase nowadays? Why not ‘schedule’ or ‘timetable’ or simply ‘plan’?). Anyway, back to the story… The ‘roadmap’ (which is what old people used before GPS) includes ambitious sales targets so they’re recruiting enterprising dealerships.
