Apparently Stellantis has kicked the agency can way on down the road. Apparently its plans to change the way it works with dealers is on hold. Apparently its having second thoughts.
So what now? This was meant to be one of the agency model flagships for Alfa Romeo, DS Automobiles and other brands, and dealers had expressed serious concern over its arrival.
But now? Well, the UK only has a few months to wait to see what the megagroup will do next, so it hasn’t gone away.
Stellantis is still pushing the agency model in European markets, including Austria, Benelux etc. And it’s saying that the agency model is still on its way over here.
