AM is reporting that Pendragon will be relaunching its used car offer with a new brand called Zencar. Although AM said that, when it approached Pendragon for confirmation, the company refused to give full details.
But a quick dig around reveals that two weeks ago Pendragon applied to register the trademark ‘Zencar’ and that the UK IP office is currently examining the application.
What does this all mean for Pendragon’s Car Store network which founding chief executive Trevor Finn grew to 30+ outlets up to 2019, but which was then cut back to a handful by the end of 2019 after Finn’s departure?
No doubt, all will be revealed.
