Innovation Automotive (IA) has launched in the UK, aiming to bring affordable all-electric vehicles to market, to help making the switch to EVs ‘accessible, simple and sustainable’. We applaud them.
The IA range will include both LCV and passenger cars and they’ll start shifting them early next year, beginning with the DFSK EC35 compact panel van.
IA’s USP is that it claims to be the UK’s first multi-brand, all-electric automotive company. It’s quite clear that it sets out to become the go-to provider for businesses and eco-conscious motorists seeking an EV.
CEO Paul Brigden brings with him a wealth of automotive sector experience, most recently being Operations Director for Mitsubishi Motors in the UK. He says: “Innovation Automotive exists to make the switch to electric as hassle-free and straightforward as possible. IA hopes to challenge the reticence and scepticism that still exists in the market and help customers feel comfortable that they are making the smart choice”.
