While many business functions have been put on the backburner for now, dealers up and down the country are taking the opportunity to check the true ROI on their DMS. So says Navigator, anyway. And they point to a host of new installations that took place in the past few months, in Yorkshire, Sussex and the West Midlands, to name just a handful of the their lockdown installations
Broach Hill Garage, the twin MG and SsangYong dealership in the glorious Yorkshire town of Driffield has just taken delivery of a shiny new Navigator DMS.
As has PDH Cars which sells Fiat, Abarth, Alfa Romeo and Jeep in Sussex.
MG specialist Summit Garage in Dudley – celebrating its 75th anniversary in business – has also seen lockdown as the right time to up the ante with a new DMS.
Now, we all know that the DMS is the heart of a dealership, but even Navigator will have to admit that it takes time and effort to get this right. Navigator’s Jon Byles argues that this is exactly the right time to sort out DMS issues:
“Many dealerships still run old school systems which simply don’t contribute to the bottom line. In fact they’re a drain on resources. So while dealerships can’t operate at full speed it’s the ideal time to check what ROI they’re actually getting from their DMS.
“And our installation team has remote lockdown implementation and training down to a fine art, too.”
