Marshall: Stars Align for Constellation Purchase

Constellation Automotive, the owner of various motor industry brands including BCA and Cinch, plans to conduct a major review of Marshall Motor Group if and when it completes one of the fastest major purchases within the industry in recent years.

Posting documents that spell out its intentions in full, Constellation has laid out its plans for Marshall’s, ranked in the top ten most profitable dealerships, for which it intends to pay £325 million.

Constellation boss Avril Palmer-Baunack confirms that an examination of Marshall’s ‘organisational structure’ will feature in Constellations plans while also emphasising the important role in Marshall’s success played by its employees.

Constellation will plan to take the group private and remove it from the Stock Market.
