Lotus has announced that all 13 of its retail outlets have signed up for a full agency agreement, making it the first automotive brand anywhere in the world to run the full agency retail model across its home territory.
Coinciding with the new era Lotus Emira and the end of the line for the Elise, Exige and Evora, this is a significant step. A step other manufacturers will watch closely.
Lotus director Geoff Dowding said: ‘This UK network restructure marks a watershed moment for Lotus as the transformation of the business and brand continues.
‘We now have the right partners in the right locations with the right business model, and again Lotus is pioneering. We are the first OEM to have an agency agreement in place right across the UK network.’
