S24h Breakdown Administrative Coordinator

Western Commercial, Broxburn

Salary up to £23,100 DOE

At Western Commercial we pride ourselves on customer service, and are now looking for a new member to fit in to our service team as a Mercedes-Benz S24h Administrative Coordinator. This is a new role within the business due to expansion and development within the Mercedes-Benz S24h system.

The ideal candidate will have a background in communicating with customers by phone and e-mail and be able to provide a first-class service at all times. A good understanding of the commercial vehicle industry would be an advantage.

Duties will include the below but will not be limited to:

  • Offer front line customer support following a breakdown
  • Allocate correct resources to ensure that all calls and tasks are attended by the appropriate technician
  • Ensure customers are informed timely of job progression / development through to a satisfactory resolution
  • Ensure that the necessary processes and procedures are understood and are followed thereby providing a consistent and professional service to the customer
  • Ensuring that all KPI’s set are adhered to
  • Booking jobs onto the in-house computer system
  • Processing all documentation and paperwork to completion
  • Ensure at all times the safety of all team members, service, compliance and reliability of all vehicles

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Be customer-service orientated
  • Have the ability to assess data quickly and accurately
  • Have good communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to think and react quickly
  • Business standard IT skills (including Microsoft Word & Excel)
  • Prior experience with call handling
  • Be a team player
  • A good level of vehicle knowledge, maintenance and repair is desirable but not essential
  • Have a mechanical knowledge gained within a commercial vehicle service background, parts or administration roles
  • Be customer-service orientated
  • Offer a first-class customer service
