Here’s a good one! From Seoul news comes in that Hyundai and Apple have formed an alliance to develop an electric car. They are rumoured to be planning to start production in the US in 2024, though Hyundai themselves are remaining a bit coy about the details. They admit they’re talking to Apple and that’s about it.
So beyond this we know very little. What will the cars look like? How progressive will they be? Will it blow others out of the water? These are all questions for the future and we can’t wait to learn the answer.
This news has done Hyundai no end of good already, with reports that their shares have leapt a massive $9 billion (that’s billion with a ‘b’) in value since the announcement.
Remember, Apple don’t do things by half, so we really think this is worth keeping an eye on.
