Got A Boring Car, But In Great Nick?

Festival of the Unexceptional

At last, a great little event that is totally inclusive for those of us who can’t afford a flash supercar but who still love their motors, whatever their pedigree.  Yes, the Boring Banger and the Mundane Motor will be cherished and loved at the Festival of the Unexceptional when it returns on 31 July to Grimsthorpe Castle in Lincolnshire.

Even the event sponsors, Hagerty the insurers, admit in their blurb: ‘Our location will be considerably grander than the vehicles that congregate in front of it, but that of course is the joy of the festival, which celebrates the ordinary, maligned and unloved cars of the 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s.’

So, if your car or bike is boring but concours ready then why not enter it?

The festival is open to cars or bikes manufactured between 1966 and 1996 and if you have the vehicle history and decent photos then register by 31 May.
