Formula E to Light Up London

It has been away for a full four years but Formula E is set to light up the streets of London this weekend with a fantastic exhibition through the Docklands area. Rounds 12 and 13 of the season are being run on a spectacular 2.25km track and plenty of manufacturers are gearing up for it.

In essence, the track is half in the open and half under cover as it runs through the ExCel Centre.  A weird concept, perhaps, but we reckon it’s going to be really exciting.

There are just four races to go in the inaugural world championship season and things are close, with 15 drivers within 27 points of each other. Two races will be held in London this weekend and a victory can earn up to 30 points, so it’s to play for.
