The much-loved MGA has been re-born as a stylish fastback, thanks to the loving care of Warren Kennedy at Classic Restorations in Bedfordshire. Isn’t it gorgeous?
The MGA Fastback Coupe started life as a standard 1957 MGA. The steel body was removed and then the work really started: front and rear lights, sweeping side vents and Zagato flush fitting door handles right down to the sculptured tail pipes with these delicate styling features made this a very special car.
Stripped back to the basic bulkhead and redesigned in a Superlagerra inner frame with an aluminium skin.
An 1800 engine from an early MGB was rebuilt with modifications, matched to a 5-speed gearbox.
Kennedy is best known for his collection of early Healeys and is a regular competitor in the Mille Miglia.
