Not satisfied with ripping up the rulebook in the used car market, Cazoo is now going after your new car customers by launching a new car subscription service, including a whole range of models from Fiat and Ford to Mercedes-Benz and Tesla.
The subscription includesinsurance, maintenance, servicing and road tax.
Cazoo says that its research shows almost a third (30%) of UK consumers are interested in subscribing to a car rather than purchasing it outright or financing it and that one fifth (21%) have more monthly subscriptions than before the pandemic started – subscriptions to food, music etc being increasingly popular.
The Cazoo new car range will offer vehicle subscriptions for between 6 and 24 months, with ordering entirely online and delivery in as little as 72 hours. At the end of the contract period, the customer can return the car, switch it for another one or keep it on a rolling monthly contract.
