Carwow’s improved Sell Your Car website is designed to enable dealers to locate used cars direct from consumers. Stock will be listed to include full vehicle details, images and CAP valuation on the newly-graded site.
The latest website follows a suite of updates to the portal and back-office operations, introduced in April.
John Veichmanis, CEO at Carwow, said: “We’ve seen a huge uplift in stock going through the platform since we acquired Wizzle and, one year on, we are delivering a ground-up overhaul – shaped by dealer feedback. Our new website offers a fully optimised user experience both on desktop and mobile, providing the opportunity for dealers to view and buy quality used cars wherever they are.
“Over the past year more than 38,000 cars have been bought by dealers through Carwow, and over 1.7million registration plates have been entered. We’ve learnt a lot, and will continue to consult with the trade to speed up further developments.”
New tabs make it easier to manage stock acquisition via a ‘Listings’ tab to view bookmarked cars and an ‘Offers’ tab to update offers. A ‘Bought’ tab tracks cars purchased and the ‘Lost’ tab records vehicles bidded on but not won.
