Now that the Euros are over and Wimbledon has been and gone we can get officially excited about the return of the British Motor Show. It’s just one month away, being held on 19-22 August at Farnborough International.
The organisers are promising an expanded show, with three driving experiences and the new Select Electric Motor Show (backed by Select Car Leasing) as news of the UK’s lockdown relaxation gives consumers and exhibitors confidence that events will return in a big way this summer.
“With Covid-19 restrictions now lifted, families across the UK are planning their activities for the summer holidays – and after the past 18 months they’re going to be looking for some truly memorable experiences,” said British Motor Show CEO Andy Entwistle. “People will have been desperate for a great day out for over a year and we’re absolutely committed to giving them one, with a motor show that reinvents the car show concept and will give automotive companies an unmissable chance to reengage with the public after the toughest of times.
“We cannot wait to welcome thousands of people through the doors of the first proper international British Motor Show in 13 years. It will be a truly unmissable event, and a highlight of what will be a great summer.”
