BMW + Black Widow = Old-Fashioned Product Placement

For all the fancy-schmancy promo words surrounding BMW’s collaboration with Marvel Studios, to feature the X3 in the upcoming blockbuster, we can see this is good old-fashioned product placement at its finest.  The film is, in every sense of the word, a vehicle for Scarlett Johansson. See what we did there?

Marvel (part of Disney) is chuffed to bits to not only snuggle up with the Beemer Boys, but also to have first dibs on their lovely new motor, the 2 Series Gran Coupe.  Beemer gets a stack load of exposure in the spy thriller.

As Jens Thiemer of BMW says, the deal is “adding strong emotional value to the communication of these models.”
