The wonderful Ben fundraising trip Bangers4Ben is back on the road with a stunning 890-mile tour of England and Wales. But this year it’s limited to just 50 cars, so sing up fast or lose out.
Taking place from 9-12 October and speeding through some of the UK’s most glorious scenery, including Black Mountain Pass, Devil’s Staircase, Evo Triangle, Cat and Fiddle, Snake Pass, Fleet Moss, and Buttertubs Pass, the tour will raise much-needed funds for Ben’s work for people in our industry.
Ben suffered a £1m shortfall in income last year, so Bangers4Ben will be a great boost to its funds.
It all starts on 9 October at Bicester Heritage, and the rally drivers will visit Aberystwyth, the Brecon Beacons, Buxton and York among many other scenic places over the course of the four days.
The 50 places on the rally cost £650 per entry, which covers accommodation, breakfast and evening meals for the driver and co-driver, plus AA support.
But be aware – your banger can’t cost any more than £750 and must be themed and dressed within the allowances of the law. Anyone who has experienced these events in the past will know that wild and weird is the norm.
The cars will be auctioned later at BCA Blackbushe to raise more Ben funds.
So, get a move on, complete the entry form and take part in this great, fun event for Ben.
